Tina
Tina is the third model I shot for the bridal gown shoot that I was asked to be part of.
What I really liked about this image is how Tina's elegant features and expression, combined with the background garden and walls of an old fortress in Intramuros, gives the look of a Fairy Tale movie poster.
I typically don't frame my subjects in the center, but I was experimenting with the composition and this would have been appropriate if I tweaked this image with Photoshop and made it into the aforementioned movie poster. Maybe I will, later on. :D
As part of my strobist training, this is also one of the times when I opted not to dial down the shutter speed to come up with a darker background (I'm normally biased towards a darker background). I like how the colors seem to pop.

The Princess Bride
Another one of my favorite pics from the Bridal photoshoot at Casa Verde Intramuros.
Shel is such a good model, and her range of expressions is awesome. We had this one image where her expression is the total opposite of what she has in this image (but I like my models smiling, so I'm posting this one first).
Model: Shel Angeles

Waiting in the Shadows
I was recently invited to a photo shoot to showcase a beautiful set of wedding gowns for the fashionable bride.
It was an outdoor location shoot at a park in Intramuros. I saw this arch with just enough overhead foliage to allow pools of light to flow through which I thought would make a wonderful pattern on the dress.

Plants vs Zombies: Zen Garden
An updated look of what my Zen Garden looks like. I'll probably stick with this setup for a while until I decide to hunt for new plants.
At this point, I just feed the snail a chocolate bar and leave the game running in the background.
After an hour, the Zen Garden rewards me with lots of gold. LOTS. Enough to help me raise my Tree of Wisdom.
How's that for passive-income? :D
