Located at Axeltorv 2, in the centre of Copenhagen. The 5-screen Scala Biografen opened on top floor of this shopping centre on 9th March 1989. The seating capacity was for 1,036. In 1992, two additional screens were added, increasing the seating capacity to 1,180. The Scala Biografen closed on 30th June 2001.
Screen 1, which seats 400 was re-opened for Bollywood films in 2007 and screens 2 & 3, each seating 280 reopened in 2008 and screens 2nd run films. The shopping centre is currently being renovated in 2008 when I took photographs. This one was at early evening at dusk.
