The Dagmar Theatret is located at Jernbanegarde 2, Copenhagen V. It opened in March 1939 with Leslie Howard in "Pygmalion". Designed by the architectural firm Allen Christensen 7 Co. in an Art Deco style.
Converted into a 4-screen cinema in 1974, it recently had a 5th-screen added and has a total seating capacity of over 700.
