The Palads Bios are located at Axeltorv 9, in the centre of Copenhahen, and takes up a whole city block. Originally a single screen which opened in January 1918 with 2,500 seats, it was designed by architects A. Clemmersen & J. Nielsen.
There have been many alterations over the years and at one time it was a 20 screen cinema (now reduced to 17 screens). The exterior of the building and the foyer have remain more or less intact.
