I've heard of theatres turned into parking garages, in fact it may be this one. I've also seen a parking garage that looked a lot like a theatre in Lisbon (or Porto - can't recall). What a shame. It must be quite strange to park your car in such a place, a bit macabre almost.

The Michigan Theatre, Detroit, MI cinematreasures.org/theater/1963/ is the most famous theatre converted into car-parking spaces.

The RKO Chester Theatre, Bronx is used as car repair place in the former stalls area. The remainder of the auditorium just 'sits there'! It is beautiful in a strange sort of way.

That must be it. " It is the most ironic ruin of Detroit. Nowhere is the automobile more triumphant than here. Yet this site contains a double irony for it here that Henry Ford created his first car in a tiny shop that once stood on this site." on www.detroityes.com/downtown/38michtheat_pan.htm
      They look alike though.
