i wanna wake up kicking and screaming's photostream

back to editing these!!! :) this is one of my favorites from Cloverton's set.

did a shoot of sorts back in October inspired by Florence and the Machine's "Rabbit Heart (Raise it Up".
love the song, decided it deserved a sort of Celtic Druid feel, it sounds like it has like a sort of tribal influence or something....kind of shady lyrics in terms of spirituality, so i chose to portray individual lines and the overall feel of the song as i interpreted it, rather than acting out the meaning (cuz i don't believe in that sort of tribal mysticism kind of stuff, and it can step into some sketchy waters in regard to my Christian faith).
All this to say, i had a LOT of fun doing it and i LOVE Florence & the Machine. :)

HELLO AGAIN, FLICKR!!! its been too long!!
i've been busy with college applications/visits/auditions, the golf team, finals, and a very full first semester class load. BUT-- i'm done with most of my college stuff, this semester's class load is a LOT lighter and a LOT more fun, plus i don't have to take finals second semester!! so hopefully I'll be able to FINALLY catch up on the HUNDREDS of pictures i have sitting here for me to edit! i've got to finish this past summer's Camp Electric and Haiti photos, as well as a few random concept shoots and the Christmas Pageant photos from over a year ago! ACK!!!! but better late then never, i guess. :)

i am SO sorry for the delay in picture editing/uploading as of late; i've been super busy with school and college apps and everything else. BUT- i wanted to interrupt my (sluggish) stream of concert photos to put up a Halloween-themed one. Happy Halloween, everyone- I'm a Kokiri Girl!!!! (:

(P.S. let me know what you think of the editing - i hit a rough patch and things went a little south...but i tried to save it. i think it looks a bit cheesy, but i may just be seeing it through the artist's eye, you know? feedback is much appreciated (: )
