Lewisia Blooms

Though our spring has been moving along nicely, I was not able to wait for my own Lewisia to bloom and bought some more from my local nursery to add to my rock garden. I really liked the deep red of this cotyledon hybrid.

I'm not sure what it is about these but I feel compelled to buy them and add them every time I find them somewhere, especially if they are in bloom and showing a color I haven't already got.

There is something about Lewisia that grabs my attention.
They may blush, but they show their passion.
But you have to look deeper to see their true beauty.

      Your photos are so enjoyable!
