Blue Lagoon, Iceland
The Blue Lagoon holds 6 million liters of water which is from 2000m
below the surface and is replaced every 40 hours. The ethereal color
is the result of minerals, silica and algae.
I visited the lagoon on my last day, and wished I could have stayed
longer; it was the most relaxing, yet energizing experience. If
you're planning a trip to Iceland, make sure this is on your to-do
list.
