Diamonds done!

Finally, the diamonds have been successfully pieced together! Assembling the strips was easy, but sewing the strips together so that the four corners lined up was extremely difficult. Next time I make this (ha!) I'll add darts to the pattern pieces to assist in lining everything up.

I haven't even thought ahead to the rest of the pillow assembly. I'm thinking the fronts will be linen and diamonds, the backs will be patterned with a hidden zipper, and there will be patterned piping.
