My grandmother gave him to me a few weeks ago. I remember he used to live on their windowsill when I was a child and obsessed with the clear plastic pen holder next to him that had a picture of the Mosel inside it.

I visited my grandma today. We took a walk (as always) and afterwards I read to her from the Junglebook for an hour. She can't read any more and misses it greatly. I was absolutely not aware how much of a strain it is for your throat to be reading out loud for more than 3 seconds!
Those hydrangeas are stolen from my mothers garden.
