Apparently, Apple will take the time to design packaging for their paperclips.
Matt got his iPhone back from Apple, along with a replacement phone and they sent this paperclip along with instructions on how to use the paperclip to remove the SIM card from the old phone.
You can see the rest of the packaging here.

This is almost like Apple Service Support burning a 100K file on a 600 meg cd, just because they can. They sent the store I worked at the update file for one of their Service Source program which was already on a cd. I couldn't believe they wasted a CD when a floppy disk would have done the job back in 1985
Bravo Apple

I don't understand chip. Its easier, cheaper, and more universally useable to burn an update to a cd then to put something on a floppy disk. Whats the issue again?

It was real, we got it from Apple when they returned an iPhone that had been repaired along with instructions on how to use the paperclip to remove the SIM card.
