Landing Gear Down

    Sometimes they get a little too close for comfort - those beaks are big and sharp! This one almost landed on top of me... I did actually get hit by one later in the morning, luckily it only caught my shoulder.

      amazing birds, I love the colour of their eyes, their marked feet, that beak, as birds see differently to us, I believe they see ultra-violet as well, perhaps those markings on their beaks and feet stand out even more.

      I expect my African grey parrot isnt just grey to another bird !
