For my sister, Becca.

 

This was a nine month-long project I finally completed yesterday.

 

My idea for the project was to document her first pregnancy and it's progression in a unique way that she could have and look back at later in life.

 

It turned into a series of polaroids in which I would take a mid-waist-belly-profile shot of her every month for nine months until she had her kid.

 

I gave the series to Rebecca and her husband/my best friend Joe as sort of a late baby gift and something to add to the photo albums.
