Yeah, I'll bet you do.

Some London churches have very odd names: St. Andrew–by–the–Wardrobe, St. James Garlickhythe, St. Vedas–alias–Foster. I suggest that the one pictured be re–named St. Paul's–over–the–Barriers.

Apparently this was the intended site for the Occupy London tent village, but Paternoster Square is one of those privately-owned “public spaces” that property developers like to babble on about when seeking planning permission—and the private owners have chosen to make the square un–occupyable by completely filling it with these barriers. And also completely unusable as a “public space” and also very, very ugly. So, win–win: the dignity of international financial Capitalism is maintained as the LSE folks won't be pestered by hippies while lurking outside for a cheeky cigarette and one of London's few “public spaces” is wrecked into the bargain!

Just as road markings viewed form the top of a tall building take on a surreal geometrical perfection so to does the contrail left in a clear sky by an airliner viewed form far below.
