The Swing
This old covered bridge leads to one of the few remaining examples of an intact Civilian Conservation Corp camps. Established in April 1933 during the first month of the program the men of camp ANF-1 also called Duhring, built roads and telephone lines, fought fires and built recreational facilities. The camp was used during WW II to house conscious objectors and prisoners of war. The camp in Northwestern PA is now privately owned.
