A beautiful picture! But a real Scotch shouldn't contain a rock: it spoils the real taste. And whiskEY is the Irish form. A real Scotch is written as whiskY.

Many people drink Scotch many different ways, some neat, some on the rocks and some with a splash of water. I've even seen a guy I used to bartend with who put it in a brandy snifter with a twist of lemon, heated it and sipped it with a cigarillo. Not exactly my cup of tea, but hey... who am I to tell a man how to enjoy his vice. It all boils down to personal taste... real or not.

It's one of the undebatable topics in life... personal taste is personal taste, whether it be how to serve a drink... what President to vote for... or whether to wipe front to back or back to front. I think you get what i am saying. If you like it neat.. good on ya.

I've been told the shot looks like Amaretto, Rum, Cognac and Whiskey. I didn't see a need to tag it as "whisky" since it's already Scotch and that would be a redundant tag.. imho. But since it is more closely related to it's cousin Whiskey (and being told that it looks like one), I decided to add that tag. *shrug*
