This Great Cormorant was enjoying sunbath in Japan. It may be possible the same one I saw in Hong Kong.

It is also very interesting to see them taking off from the water. Running/jumping on the water surface for quite a long distance. :)

Thank you for stop by, Scott. I once thought it was only the practise in the past. Happy to see the tradition not yet gone.

Btw, had saw the photos of Ur trip visiting here in HK, very nice pics. Do take a look at the countryside as well next time, it is interesting to see all the birds and also thedolphins here. :)
