Death to the June Bug!

Shot it after my 4yr old, playing in the backyard, yelled "Dad, I found a Black Widow!". Of course, every spider is a black widow to him, so I payed it no mind. But when my 2yr old girlie girl daughter screamed "Oh Dear!, Oh Dear!" in her muffled 2yr old style, I knew something was wrong. I ran out, and sure enough - Black Widow. And a somewhat uncommon one, too. Heart Shaped marking on the top, and hourglass below. I have not seen a black widow in our woods in 4 years, now 2 in one week - one uncommon, and one regular but HUGE. Glad my kids are scared of them, and know what to look for. No more hiking in our woods in shorts for me.
