Munnar - Top Station

    Top station, 41 km (1hr) from Munnar is aptly named, as it is home to some of the highest tea plantations in India. It lies on the state border between Kerala and Tamilnadu and commands a panoramic view of rolling green hills.

      it is absolutly marvellous. I have seen recently a documentary about the recolte of tea leavec in the hills, and it was a hard work especially for women. I was badly surprises to see old women works so much hours and very tired for nearly nothing as money and the men who order to them how work were very hard with them.

      framajo you are right in all the tea plantations in india the situation
      is no better,but that is india working hard to survive!
      our nature resources are not comparable with the west let alone these wonderful pictures!!!
