At last October's Marion railfan meeting, I asked signal expert and tower operator emeritus George Detwiler if he would mind posing for a classic shot of him running the machine inside AC Tower. Ever the gracious host, he lit the board up like a Christmas tree, with simulated train movements all converging on the plant at once.

SD40-3 4003 with the conductor riding the steps eases down 2 extension at Dayton after helping bring the daily peddler up from Cincinnati.

Q231 southbound on the Toledo Sub. with an SD80MAC and a spartan C40-8. The view is through the cab window of a switcher that is about half the length of the 80MAC...and a quarter of the horsepower.

On New Year's Day 2012, the 33rd annual Bortrail was held at the Crossroads Expo Center in Vandalia, Ohio. There was lots of great rail photography, food, and fellowship. Thanks to Dave and Jill Oroszi and everyone else who made it a success.

Cincinnati-Dayton J782-12 ambles up the yard lead at Wagner Ford Rd. after receiving yarding instructions. This train usually has sexy older EMD power. That stuffed GP30 second out should have been in the lead though...
