Badge console

When you hook the badge up to a computer, it shows up as a serial port and it sends debug information out. Pretty cool.

Read the article. It's my wife's old gaming machine, running Win2K.

The Freescale serial port driver is Windows-Only. Microprocessor programming environments are also Windows-only most of the time. Win2K is pretty robust and snappy, even in a virtual machine or on older hardware. I'm not "too good" for Windows, particularly when it means tinkering with electronics and microprocessors. I'd be happier if I could use BSD or Mac OSX (or even Linux) but it's just not meant to be. I'm okay with that.

Just giving you a hard time, man! It's just the first time I've seen a Windows screenshot on any of your posts. Haha.
