    Slices of an old 25mm road tire innertube are used to hold the excess length of my panniers' expansion straps.

      I have two sets of axiom bags that have lasted a year of everyday use.

      Not stylish or particularly well designed, they are holding together, and unlike the ortliebs or the RANS aero bags, they havent been stolen yet.

      Gah. Well, I bring these into the office with me every day. That is to say no one is stealing them off of my bike while I work. They'll have to fight me in the cubicle farm for them.

      These are the Axiom LaSalle panniers. Usually, one holds my laptop and gadgets. The other holds a few tools, my bike lock and my change of clothes for work.
