So I just put a little reminder up on my keyboard. It's a reminder of
why - oh, why -
we all go to work, and that some days are worse than others.

And I do remember occasionally seeing you come home with the weight of a bad day on your shoulders. But I never saw you wear it too long, and I never saw you give up, quit or complain (too loudly). You are a wonderful role model, and have shown me by example the true meaning of work ethic. For that I'll always be thankful.
Indeed, it's fortunate that we have plenty of things in our lives OTHER than just work that keep the whole thing in balance.
