17th Day-New Mexico
We stopped for gas and these clouds were like a hand reaching out...so
amazing that I set up my medium format camera so I could capture all
of the clouds. Stopped for the night in Gallup New Mexico. At 3:30 in
the morning I rolled over and whispered,
"Are you awake?"
"Yes..."my husband said
"What do ya say we get a really early start and go home...I'll
drive the first leg"
We were out of there so fast and on the open, dark, road... with all
the truck drivers.View On Black
*This is a continuing cross country trip that was taken right after 9/11 a number of people have asked about our trip wanting to know where we stopped along the way, and what it was like driving across country at that time. The trip starts with the images taken of the World Trade center in simpler times. You might want to go back and check them out to understand the purpose of this trip. I the hope you enjoy the ride!
