Check out my new toy... really great way to get a rich full-body flavor from freshly roasted coffee beans.

By grinding finer, increasing of decreasing the amount of beans and water, mixing it while brewing, and titling it back towards the handle you can adjust the infusion process and change the strength and quality of the extraction.

This machine produces the best totally infused cup of coffee that is dark black in color, strong, smooth and has a full-body flavor that exceeds the French Press in terms of flavor extraction.

WARNING: If you stir during the infusion time, be careful to only do so at the start and of the cycle. In the middle of the cycle the water goes crazy and if you are stirring at this time, you might get hot water on your hands and face.

Looks yummy! Have you ever ground it too fine, and had the vacuum process stall out? It's been a worry of mine, I have the "mini"version of this one.
Cheers,

i have the Rancilio Rocky grinder and i found that at setting 25, this vac pot taste a little over extracted. So I try to stick to 27 or 28 to make it strong, but not bitter. I have never ground so fine that it stalls out.

This vac pot makes the blackest coffee I have ever seen... while at the same time little or no murky sludge.
