kayakermanmike, I checked out some of Adorama's emails and I don't think helen v oster is real. Her email ends in "@adoramacamera.com" while the others are just "@adorama.com". I would email adorama directly.

I have ended up in direct contact with an Adorama employee through an email that went through her... Employeename@adorama.com

I've seen some of the same things that make me wonder, however, in the end it seems to be working out.

First email from said employee was asking if I had received the product, with info from shipping. I emailed back explaining that it was not that I had not received, it, but that it was the wrong item.

Also called using adorama phone # and extension in his email. Got voice mail, he called back. Unfortunately I had stepped out so he got voice mail. I will be receiving a postage paid return label. Luckily with Vonage, I also now have a wav file for my records...

I am not taking any of this at face value yet, I am still suspicious of bait and switch going on here...

Dear Kayakermike and Helen,

I've reached this post while looking for some answers regarding the grip for the D60. I own one and I'm looking for something like this. However, I find it useless if it's IR based.

Is there a version with the pins for true shutter, AE/AF Lock and Aperture/shutter controls? Is it just a picture from a model for a different camera?

Thanks in advance!
Xavier.-
