      I've been a vegetarian for 25+years. But before that I actually ate cow's lungs!

      Living in Malaysia my then mother-in-law boiled them whole with spices, then sliced and fried pieces to make something that resembled jerky. MMMmm Yum!

      In the Philippines, cow lungs are chopped up with veggies and spices and made into a peppery dish called "bopis". It's often served as a main course, or as a side dish to go with beer. Mmmmmmm.......cow lungs...mmmm. :)

      First time I cow lungs was in Hong Kong in a soup my grandmother made. It's a pity that you can't really buy them in the states.
