Every time we think we are the best artists in the world, Nature stuns us. The range of color tones that it displays, the textures that it creates, the vibrance that it radiates...Everything is just stunning.
I had never seen a lizard as green as this one, that I found in Melbourne, Australia. He was so elegant and majestic in his form, and was very curious about what I had in store for him.
While visiting the Zoological Gardens there a few years ago on a very hot day, we soon got tired that we decided to rest on a wooden bench. As we walked towards the seat, I saw this green thing perched on it.
I immediately took out my gear, which already had a tele photo lens attached, and aimed at the lizard. He just moved his eyes towards me, as the Auto Focus function beeped. Click. And a few more Clicks. He was gone. All of this lasted probably a few seconds long.
I guess sometimes life does give us opportune moments.
