what happen with the corners of the photo? they seem to have in the same depth of field but they are blured. Anyway I like the pic.

The blurring is actually intentional. It is an iphoto option. I like the way it frames photos, is all.

Nice work on these shots. I was out during the storm, coming home from the Lower East Side, and I thought of stopping to shoot - had my tripod and everything. When push came to shove, though, it was snowing buckets and freezing cold, so I wimped out on it.

Life was easier because I went home and came back out. When I headed out again I had longjohns and trashbags around my feet and lowerlegs under my jeans and inside my shoes. It worked out well for trudging through 6 inches of snow. Otherwise, I never would have made it more than 10 feet.

You have many excellent photos in this set. I am curious to see a few of them without the blurring effect, especially this one. It is a very strong image, so it makes me wonder if I would like it even more without the blur. Great shot either way.

Intentional blurring usually does nothing for me, but this shows that there are are definitely some great uses for it! It evokes memories of sitting in a warm house looking out at fresh-fallen show through a frosted window.
