Great Blue Heron
Early morning, the lake is still as glass, and a great blue heron is perched atop a dock.

daisy duck
The spring ducks & ducklings are grown and have flown off, leaving only a handful of lone ducks on our lake. Daisy has adopted us (perhaps because I feed her grapes occasionally!). When we sit on the dock, watching the sunset, she always waddles up to say hi and sit beside us.
