blah. i had such a great idea for this shot - and this wasn't Quite it.

besides this image that i'm not completely satisfied with, but am Exhausted by - i had a great day. i bought some lighting equipment. no more stealing my friends' lights for my client shoots. hehehehe... i'm assembling my photo army. next on the list - 5d. bring it on, canon! =)

i'm a professional photographer by trade, so the new 5d would serve me Very well. especially in low light situations like weddings. it'd really up my game. the price tag isn't all that intimidating - it's the wait list! i dunno how to friggin' get one before 2010. =)

since i've gotten so many requests asking how i made the chair fly... i propped the chair up on 2 crates on either side. sat in it (very carefully) and took the shot. then removed the crates and held the chair in place on the wall. combine the two images accordingly and voila! =)
