The Offering

It seems like she wants to offer this bag of what I am not sure what to since for a rare moment she is alone in her play area. I love it when I can actually get a picture without the kids realizing it! No posing...just their pure sweet innocence shining through.

She and her sisters are always dressed in what were pretty old tattered dresses. Always smiling. See the next photo to see what she has in front of her. :-))

Thank you CJ! I actually have not thought of that as being my greatest contribution. Now that i have discovered Flickr perhaps it will certainly be a bigger contribution! The pictures used to be stashed in slide boxes (actually still are). Now with digital photography I can show people in talks, pull them out to remind me why I do the not so fun part of my work for these kids (the admin side) but it is truly people like you on flickr who choose often to really take the time to appreciate each picture that draws you in. Hopefully this will make people choose to help others less fortunate in their best way possible. There are other fabulous photojournalists on here that I am in awe by. :-))))

With all of your feedback and these other peoples examples of great photojournalism, I am re- motivated more than ever to make the best of every photo opporunit.
