Not part of the rehab/redesign at that place, alas. Like the pink Cleveland shot (see comment) it's temporarily pink for breast cancer awareness.

No...although I love getting shots like these, I'm cynical about all the breast cancer marketing:

And something about the "Save the Ta-Ta's" ad campaign makes me kind of stabby. Breast cancer is a huge health problem, obviously, but lung cancer kills more women (and more die from heart disease than any cancer). But I don't know, lungs aren't sexy I guess (and if anyone thinks they are, there's surely a Flickr group about it, but I don't want to know). Okay, this is the sort of ranting I should save for a blog...

For my first trip to Chicago as a conscious person (I'd been hundreds of times when I was 2-4) I stayed here for a day. Such an awesome place! We had 2 Bathrooms!

Industry, I went there last night (this shot's from the day before) because a friend was staying there, I think he said he got it for $79 on Hotwire. I didn't see his room but from his description, pretty sure he didn't have 2 bathrooms. And the wi-fi isn't free! But it's well worth staying in if you can (or at least wandering in to take photos).
