Very strong expressions I have to say.
From a technical point of view I would either think of having a bit less contrast by some fill light from the right or try out b&w. Or just crop out the plain black area and make it a square crop?
And there is some distractive white patch (see note). You happen to know what it is.
The lighting and colors in the rest of the frame are great and would deserve a fave.

hi dave... i think you're right... that the dutch feeling has something to do with her headgear... it's somehow reminiscent of those little 'Delfts Blauw' figurines.

@Mainzelmann; thank you for your comment... a square crop could work well indeed and the 'distractive white patch' are three painted on tears... like pierrot i guess

This looks like a scene form a film! Maybe in a way it reminds me of the film "The Girl with Peal earrings", maybe because the lighting is also like "the Dutch School" of painting ;-)

Unbelievably-gorgeous.

I love these guys. I've missed them during their visits here, but hopefully I will be able to see them someday. One of the times that they were supposed to be in Atlanta, they got arrested and weren't able to play the show, and they had to cancel, which upset many, many people! I'm just happy I didn't buy tickets to that particular show!
