And yet, book sounds so harsh. This was not just a book. It was not just pieces of paper thrown into hard back. That would be ridiculous. This was a sentiment of a fictional character who had cancer. It’s full of honesty, humor, heartwarming conversations, and depressing emotions. It's about the infrequent gratification of existence. It’s beautiful. And as much as I want to defend it more than just being a cold book on a shelf, I can’t spoil it for anyone, but it’s truly so much more than just a book.
It changed my life, and I hope whoever reads it feels the same.
