Every time I read something about Sarah Palin, I have this reaction.

She forced rape victims to pay for their own forensic evidence gathering kits?
- You're fucking shitting me, right!?

She shoots animals from airplanes? That's not even sportsmanlike of a sport-hunter.
- You're fucking shitting me, right!?

She fired someone for not firing her exbrother in law, who she has a personal vendetta against.
- You're fucking shitting me, right!?

She stands on a family values platform, but she's such a careerist that she'll take an intensive job that will not allow her to spend adequate time with her special needs infant?
- You're fucking shitting me, right!?

She helped oust her predecessor in Alaska from office for doing state business via personal email and thereby evading the security measures and auditing processes that politicians are supposed to be subject to, and then DID THE SAME THING!?
- YOU'RE FUCKING SHITTING ME, RIGHT!?

Did McCain vet anything other than Palin's tits?

The correct punctuation mark is an interrobang or ‽ (your font may not have it) but this is infrequently used as it only dates back to 1962. When using multiple ! and ? symbols, Wikipedia says, "the question mark frequently comes first (to emphasize that it is a question), although there is no universal style rule on the subject." I think of Ms. Palin as a bang first, ask questions later kind of person so I approve the usage here.

The typeface is Cooper Black, which originated in the 1920s. It predates the interrobang. I'll always prefer double punctuation to that symbol.

_She says she fired the chef and driver, to show that she's against politics as usual, but it's because she is rarely in Juneau. She has her office in Anchorage now, knowing that the job was in Juneau when she ran...she was for the capital move, than against it when she was politicking in SE Alaska, now she's moving it piece by piece...which, should the capital move, would devastate Juneau's economy.
_A self-proclaimed fiscal conservative, she was left with a surplus by the previous Governor she ousted (he was a pretty despicable character) and then increased the budget 30% in 2 years.
_She increased the taxes on the oil companies and then gave the citizens of Alaska an additional $1200 on top of the permanent fund dividend...can you say: "sharing the wealth?"
_Did you see that she would wear a button with only "Palin" on it? She has a history of getting invited in and then stabbing her benefactors in the back...

Well she's back ,and now she's pissed off. We'll have to take the beatings, remembering that change has swept the country, giving us greater hope...I am proud of this country again!

Either way, you sound sensible and I hope that some of that sensibility rubs off on your fellow AKers. Between Palin and the convicted felon Senator... are you guys getting enough vegetables up there? Or fish? Fish is supposed to be brain food.

Re: Palin only wearing a button with her own name on it. Oh boy, that's weird. I run a button business and wouldn't even do that myself.
