Michael bought me a new lens for christmas. Tamron AF 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5 SP Di

I have not picked up the camera but a few times since the holidays. I think I was in a funk with some after holiday blues.

I am in awe at how lovely this lens is outdoors ! The funk dissipated long enough for me to take the camera to the end of the driveway, who knows if tomorrow will bring something bigger and better.

Shadow

She is so old we forget when she was born. Michael says 20 or so years but I think she was born in 93 or 94. She was very vocal this morning ... have no idea what she was telling us but we acted like we understood.

clearing out

Michael asked if I really wore everything that is in my closet - I couldn't answer yes with a straight face so I started stripping hangers. This photo covers 1 1/2 walls of the closet.
