the cure @ radio city music hall

Oh be still my heart! I saw THE CURE --my all-time favorite band, two nights in a row! They played MSG on June 20th, and Radio City Music Hall on June 21st. It was quite possibly the two best nights of my life. I smuggled in my camera but without a zoom lens, my pictures turned out crap despite the fact that I had pretty good seats.

Each night was totally different! The set list featured different songs --many of which they usually don't play live. Like "Killing an Arab" or "The Baby Screams" for instance!!

And to top it all off, Robert was in rare form that night and actually ventured OUTSIDE the stage and went up the balcony! He was animated, talked to the audience (besides his usual "thank you"), and made jokes! Oh, I heart you Robert Smith!

I love, love, love the Radio City Music Hall set --capped off with a live rendition of "A Forest," a song I truly love. Man, I could relive that night over and over again in my head!
