the morning i heard a mermaids song.
ive mentioned this before, but my favorite place to be, in the entire world, is underwater. and ill always believe in mermaids.
kristis pose is not a manipulation. this is a great example as to why i love her as a model. note that she is dry... meaning we only did this once.

Oh.. my god. This might be the best thing I've ever seen from you. Besides the obviously magnificent concept and pose and Kristi's usual degree of being incredible, I think my favorite part is the way you handled these blacks and got such richness out of the contrast and different levels and all. Aaagghahghgh, this is just a really, really good photo. And I see it getting lots and lots of attention on hurr, so get ready.

gosh Karrah!!!! You are so amazing, I can't get over this. With the water that is reaching up to her, it almost looks like she comes out of the water and does not fall into it. I love her pose so much and her expression. The focus and the depth of this are so amazing...this is just the best thing I saw in a long time :)

Kristi's pose is just insane. I love how calm she looks [even though she's about to fall into water, ahah.] It really brings out the idea that she's hearing the call of a mermaid! The black and white is fantastic. It's so timeless and wonderful.
Also, I thought you were a mermaid! Were all those pictures lies? ;]

Kaaaaarraaaaahh, can you please just teach me everything you know? I mean seriously. this is insanely beautiful. The black and white is so rich and beautiful. The sky looks beyond amazing. Kristi looks so crisp and clear, even in the midst of falling. I love the bits of water underneath her and the shadows on her legs, it's the perfect amount of detail.

I just noticed something else about this, the left side of the picture is perfect and white, clean, and glamourous looking, like the rich life. But then she is falling over into the mystery of fairy tales and mythical creatures like mermaids, the right side is dark, mysterious and tempting.
