View from the Scott monument towards famous (but too expensive for all the war you get) Edinburgh Castle. I love this kind of perspective - not above above the city, but on an intermediate level. Submitted the tilt-shift version (my first ever try) to the "Edinburgh Discovered" international student competition of the University of Edinburgh Internetional Student Office. Didn't win anything, but was shortlisted at least, so top 50ish of 265 photos ;) I tried to do a new tilt-shift, as I was quite pressured by time with the first version. But in the end I still prefer the first one, what do you think?
...in the end I'm still not that big of a tilt-shift fan - I prefer to see the castle and hills etc. Either you get deprived of 5/6 of the photo, or it does not really seem like a miniature as in my version.. It fitted the topic anyway, because Edinburgh sometimes does feel quite unreal to me. I just love being here.
Tapadh leibh for reading through this gibberish =) Hope you are all as well as I am. I am quite determined to procrastinate today and get back to a few of your photostreams <3
