My first plan failed (see comment)...

This is from the other day when we went to the beach. It is the same pelican flying away from my dad (see comment) who was trying to sneak up on him. I took a series of shots and them layered them together. Here in Florida, this is a common scene! =)

Excellent concept and great use of GIMP. Really well done. I especially like the grain/texture and vignette.

BTW, this may be the first time I've ever seen a shot of someone sneaking up on a pelican. Come to think of it, it's something MY daughter would have me do if she needed the shot!! :) Bravo to dad!
