Speedball 24 Pen Card

    Newer Older

"The triple reservoir pens for lettering, drawing, signs, calligraphy, cartooning.”

I'm hoping to date this by the design of the Speedball logomark. Any ideas?

A lovely set- hope you'll use it!?
I think it probably dates to the mid-to-late 1950s, from my experience of buying & selling
various vintage packaged items over the years.

      Yes, I would say mid-fifties.

Hey Karen Horton I like this look! Are u a cartoonist graphic designer illustrator or just collecting these for fun? I'm looking for help designing title cards for my indie feature film..... I have a flipbook magazine I'm creating but have some ideas via email that might help you more if you can help me? Or know of any other illustrator designer typeface designer all in one?....I know Alfred Hitchcock did titles for films before he directed his first film... But in my case I need the talent of a designer as I know the look but have no idea how to create my own version for the film...... Thanks
