Another awesome day in the world of K.

....A statement not to me confused with "an awesome manipulation by K"....erm...no.

However, I can explain how non-stressful that distinction is right now.

Once a week I get to sit down, come up with some ridiculous, dumbass concept with my best friend and make a terribly processed picture out of it.
It's the one day a week...I don't care about being a photographer...or what people think...it's my day to just be dumb, and silly, and process shit in the lamest way possible. (or...fastest/cheesiest/crappiest...you pick)

For that...I look forward to. It's enjoyable to bullshit and complain to each other as we do it, sure....but really....for me?

The best part is knowing that it doesn't really matter....at the end....because, well......I'll smile, he'll smile...and fuck...someone out there better be smiling.
It just makes me happy......so...anyways.....

I am posting a shitty ass processed pic, however....it still makes me laugh....and in ten years....it still will.
I'll always have that. ;-)

Random Fact: I love hoodies.

I was in a fantastic mood earlier.

We did some shopping, I bought some new running shoes that are...no doubt, the ugliest shoes I've ever paid over $50 for.
What is with women's active shoes, now? They're fucking ugly.
Hot pink, neon orange...clashing bright colors....
Are we afraid of getting hit by cars now, we run so much that we're so damn skinny cars can't see us anymore so we need blindingly bright shoes??!!

Anyway. They're awesome. I mean...they fit awesome. They're ugly.

So, I came home, contorted my body into all kinds of poses that..well..were alright. But, then hated the outcome, I spent three..no..wasted three hours editing..until I just now went outside and cried for 10 minutes.
I fucking cried.
I'm sick of hating everything I post. I almost quit. I seriously HATE almost everything I post.
So, fuck it.

Earlier today, while I was shooting, my husband came in...talked to me...laid down on the floor in front of me...and ...well.
Did this. ^^^

Hours later...hell...I'm posting it cos it's real. It's real!

Random Fact: As proof of my ridiculous ability to misuse wordage in public places and continually embarrass my husband; Today as I'm trying on dozens of running shoes and hating them all, I finally put on the ones I ended up buying.

More playing with my fiddy on manual focus.
As it turns out, it's impossible to do so without contacts....as I couldn't focus it, take off my glasses, and then take the picture without moving a hair forward or backward doing so. Heehee.

Anyhow. This is done. Nothing special, but at least I don't have to worry about it the rest of the day.

I feel better, for sure...no tummy issues, I just feel like poo as you do when you're really really sick. Compared to yesterday, I feel great. So..there's some optimism for ya.

Ok. I'm gonna try and eat something *crosses fingers* and then get dressed and go get my little man....he's been at my moms for the past day while mommy was under the weather.

Random Fact: For some reason I hate the thumbnail to this pic. It looks like I'm pissed off....

Woke up at 1am last night with the stomach flu. I didn't fall asleep again until after 6am...
I feel like shit, no question.

Haven't thrown up since this morning, but damn, do I ever feel like I might.
That's okay, the fevers and the aches and pains are reminding me I'm not 100%. Ugh. :P

Anyway, I snapped "a" pic, (if you can call it that.) SOOC with a crop....just cos I always prefer squares.
There you go. Day 27 complete and here's to hoping I'm able to keep my food down come Day 28.........
