I wish I could say I felt weird crawling around on the floor with strands of lights and my camera.
In fact. There are a lot of things that a few years ago I would have totally pointed and laughed at that I do on a regular basis now.
Life does have a sense of humor.
So, while I have the excuse that I was "playing with the cat", it's just as easy to shrug and admit that yes, I am that pregnant lady sprawled on the floor with a Nikon, wriggling around and cooing at the cat while teasing her with christmas lights.
I'm too tired to argue, it's more fun to just laugh at myself.

Ah, so how is the world of Flickr that I have so diligently neglected lately?
I pop in from time to time and marvel at how everyone else is so timely, and present: and with ultimately creative works at that.
Me, I've been reading about breastfeeding and prenatal diets and how to make your own baby food while mulling over crib styles and child care options.
I pick up my camera out of pure obligation over the time missed, and I almost don't know what to do with myself. It's as if I have to focus too hard to be creative. It used to come so easily.
I suppose my head's just busy buzzing with other things.
ANYWAYS. Hope everyone's ready for Christmas! I'm debating on baking today....I still need to scrub the floors as well. Hmmm.....ponder ponder. Where does the time go.

Hi!
I'm still alive. :)
Things are going fine. Still battling the morning sickness, but 9 weeks and counting, so hurrah: only a few more weeks until the second trimester and things should start to look up on the not-feeling-so-swell front.
I've got a little baby bump going on; Which I attribute in part to the fact I am A.) Not-so-much in shape to begin with and B.) the fact that nothing soothes my dizziness (and crankiness) like some Rocky Road ice cream.
On that note, Gene has formed "Sympathy Cravings" along with me, bless his soul, so even though he isn't sporting a baby bump at least I don't feel like a shmuck plopped on the couch drowning in chocolate alone.
Anywayyyys,,,,Just wanted to drop by and say hello! Hope everyone is doing well! Time is just flying by, and I've been so busy I'm surprised I haven't lost my head. Especially paired with pregnancy-brain....where I've basically misplaced everything but. *sigh*
Happy week to all! And Happy Holidays! As you can see we have our tree up! hehe! I have some hilariously blurry pictures of the night we decorating. But I'm not to keen on my frumpy, pajama mama-to-be look I got going...LMAO.
