This photo means more to me than it does to you. This photo is a representation of me finding my way out of the place that I have been hiding. Away from these hidden battles. Away from my shame. It's been a hard and slow process, but I am almost out, I can feel it. I've finally realized that I have been washed clean. I am new.

Charcoal on my cheeks and determination in my eyes. The battles that I'm fighting are soon to be won. I will not quit, nor will my demons get the best of me. I'm on my way to being made entirely new.
