Then and now

I went down the Berkeley waterfront yesterday to shoot the Interim Solar Calendar at the Cesar Chavez Memorial. As I rigged up in the lee of a small hill (winds were tooting at over 20 mph) I suddenly remembered that this was the exact spot where I took my first KAP photo 13 years ago. So, here is that first photo and one as I fired a similar test shot yesterday.

While it looks like I am holding up reasonably well, the picnic benches actually seem to have improved over time (ok, on close inspection it looks like they are different benches which prompts a cascade of existential questions).
