My take on the canals around Damme and Knokke. Got up early on Saturday morning and drove out to the same spot we were taking shots the day before in the pouring rain. I'd hoped it would be misty - as you can see it wasn't. For the first 15 minutes or so though it was perfectly still and glass like, but within 15 minutes ripples had started appearing moving towards us slowly - and for me ruining the shot. Luckily managed to setup and fire off a couple before they appeared.
The question of cropping has already come up, and to be honest I've been in a total quandary, original, square, 2:1 - really not sure - but I've put several on my blog and what I like / don't like about each. Would be interested in your opinions
Just seen that this made it to Photo of the Day at Digital Camera Magazine - www.photoradar.com
