Calm Waters HDR

Photo taken at Silverfallet, approximately 25km nortwest of Skövde in an area called Nordbillingen. The river/creek drops 60m from 206m above sea level to 146m over a distance of 1.5km. Quite steep drops with fantastic carvings in the rocks. The area surrounding the river used to be rich in limestone and alum and there are plenty of pockets with deposits of limestone and alum along the river and in the river bed. However since the late 1890's the quarries have been closed. The lower part of the river consists of flat rock and this is also were the drop ends.

Thanks thyes. It ain't easy creating good looking HDRs, most of the ones I do end up like crap. But practice makes perfect. Just take loads and loads of photos with bracketing and practice :)
