on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

On Black

So, Dario and I were Flickr-strolling around Greenwich this [lovely, sunny] afternoon and I saw these 2 fellas enjoying their pints of beer and the sun. Through their glasses I saw Canary Wharf. I'd have probably just shown it to Dario and walked on but he encouraged me to ask them if I could photograph their glasses. He asked because I was hesitant... by this time, they had already started looking at us in a strange manner because we were 'eyeing' their pints!
They didn't mind - of course! In fact, once we were done shooting, they were so impressed, calling us - artistic et al - they spent the next 5 minutes or so trying to shoot the same with their camera :)

Scott, it was really funny. I saw this as Dario and I were walking by and showed it to me. He encouraged me to go ask these guys (who's pints these were) whether I could take a picture. I wasn't going to but he asked them instead! I'm glad he did!

In fact once we showed them what we'd clicked, they took out their own cameras and started shooting their pints :D

I know how you can be hesitant about asking people if you may take a picture, but one of my best shots came from doing just that.

I don't know which of these is my favourite, but this one's certainly in the top three :-) The upside down is incredible.

The video is great, and an added bonus is that I get to hear your voice - a first for any of my Flickr people!
