Denton, TX 9/24/11
Heather Beaupre, a USPS worker, loads her truck at the Denton USPS office off the square before her Saturday shift. Beaupre started at USPS eight years ago as a substitute mail carrier and has since become a full-time rural mail carrier. Recently, the USPS and government have considered the end of Saturday mail delivery, which Beaupre said is inconvenient, but do-able. "I worry about the subs we have now," Beaupre said. "If the government stops Saturday mail delivery, their jobs will be at risk, and my days will have to be shifted to accommodate."
